I remember the day when my cousin playfully told me that I wasn’t pretty and modern enough to understand fashion. Maybe because when everyone else in the class was busy writing ambitions in each others’ slam books, I was sitting at the corner, putting ideas in ink and imagination into colors. Maybe because I preferred gold medal at that age over the gold sequined dress. Even then I knew ‘fashion’ was something very personal and unique, instead of a ‘one size fits all’ formula that is updated each season like the mass production powered fashion houses would pay ad gurus to make you believe.
Fashion is like a signature- to each his (or her) own. It is the first, unspoken, spontaneous ‘hello’ you say to everyone you cross on the street. So why make it forgettable, why not squeeze in a little bit about yourself in there? I get upset seeing every other girl on the street in western outfits, making a boring attempt of keeping it “casual” and “modern”. I am not a fashion extremist. My wardrobe is full of vibrant, colorful dresses, gypsy trinkets, bohemian bags and handpicked tribal jewelry but I still wear neutrally toned coats, knee touching boots, body-hugging skirts or striped pants paired with blouses to work. But when it comes to wearing casuals on weekends, I always love infusing Indian, bohemian and western styles, creating a unique and wearable look.
Keeping my ranting aside and coming back to this post, I collaborated with this talented photographer, Shardul, who I’ve been friends with on Instagram for months, but had never actually met! We finally met for the first time the day we did this photo walk and spent a day traveling to different places in San Francisco while having a frenzied talk. My first encounter with San Francisco was exciting but I was equally nervous and lost in a city full of strangers, scouring craigslist postings every day to find an apartment, feeling lonely and making daily tearful phone calls to my family and close friends, trying to decipher why, when I will get used to staying completely alone. But eventually things started to fall into place, I found a-little-out-of-budget but an absolutely beautiful apartment with a bay-view, my own little room which I decorated with all the souvenirs I collected during my travels, settled in my new office, spending weekdays working hard and weekends exploring new places, new cities, making new friends and memories. Finally, I learned to be completely independent and comfortable in my own skin.
I walked out enthusiastically on California streets wearing a navy blue Indian kurta for this photo walk, which I had almost forgotten about since the time I bought it. I picked up oxidized silver neckpiece and earrings while scouting the local market in Colaba, Mumbai. I’ve teamed this FabAlley kurta with Zara pants and accessorized it with a bold oxidized ring I picked up from Venice beach in Los Angeles and finished the do with red stilettos from Steve Madden to balance the color tone and create a traditional-casual look.

Hello there! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers?
I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on. Any tips?
You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something
that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I will try
to get the hang of it!
I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great.

As the cost of physical space in the high street and in shopping malls becomes increasingly expensive, more and more of the leading names in retail are turning to the internet as a direct, cost effective channel of communication with their customers which offers flexibility and instant contact that is not possible through traditional methods of purchasing. Due to the lower overheads associated with providing goods and services online, retailers are able to pass these savings on to their customers in the form of larger discounts and price reductions which are not possible through more expensive, traditional…

Hey! I know this is kinda off topic but I was
wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives
for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point
me in the direction of a good platform.
Wonderful post however , I was wanting to know if you could write a litte
more on this topic? I’d be very thankful if you could elaborate a little bit further.
Appreciate it!
I hope you all are having a great weekend. I have a new list for you. Read the latest update on how I compiled the list. I’m still surprised by the results.
The material from which your garden furniture is made does not only play the key role in its beauty and durability but it also determines care and maintenance required. While some types of outdoor furniture need only occasional cleaning to keep them in top shape, the others need considerably more care to preserve their aesthetic appeal and extend their durability.

I ‘ve spent 3 hours searching for such infos. I’ll also share it with a couple of friends interested in it. I’ve just bookmarked this website. Now with the job done, I’ll find some WAGs Cams.
